Who you’re dealing with

Truncly is operated by Mahmoud Shayeb, an individual based in Palestine ("we", "us"). See Contact for full details. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

The service

Truncly shows how text is displayed or limited on third-party platforms and suggests shorter versions. Limits come from platform documentation, third-party device tests or our own models, as labelled on each screen. Platforms change their layouts and rules; we keep the data current but can’t guarantee a platform will display text exactly as previewed.

Your account

Keep your password and API keys secret. You’re responsible for activity under your account. Don’t use Truncly to process unlawful content, to overload the service, or to resell API access without our written permission.

Your content

You keep all rights to text and files you upload. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service. You’re responsible for reviewing suggested rewrites before you publish them.

Plans and payment

Orders are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com, the merchant of record for all orders; Paddle handles customer service inquiries about payments and returns. Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Plan & billing; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Prices exclude VAT where it applies; Paddle adds the right tax at checkout. Usage limits reset monthly and unused usage does not roll over.

Refunds

Any payment can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days. See the refund policy.

Ending your account

You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, after warning you where reasonable, and refund any unused prepaid period if we end the service for reasons other than a breach.

Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is". To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence or where the law doesn’t allow it.
